Cubist Face Mosaic Mural

The Cubist Face Mosaic Mural takes a fractured, angular portrait and renders it in cut stone, breaking a face into overlapping planes of rust orange, charcoal and cream. Hung on a dark accent wall, it reads as a single bold panel that draws the eye down a hallway or across a dining room.

Composition follows the logic of cubist portraiture: eyes, brow and jaw are reassembled from geometric facets rather than a continuous line. Hexagonal shapes in coppery glass sit among the stone fields, catching light differently than the surrounding matte surfaces and giving the piece a bit of movement as you pass it.

Built from natural stone tesserae hand cut and set piece by piece, the mural holds tight black lines between color fields, keeping the fractured face legible even from across a room. The panel is rigid and finished as one continuous surface, meant to mount flush against a wall like a large framed artwork.

This kind of piece works well anywhere a business wants a fixed visual anchor rather than a rotating art collection.
