Cubist Fragmented Figure Wall Mosaic

This Cubist Fragmented Figure Wall Mosaic is a striking piece of cubist mosaic wall art built from shattered geometric planes that suggest a seated figure caught mid motion. The composition leans into sharp angles and overlapping shapes rather than a single readable outline, rewarding a second and third look from across the room.

The palette stays close to charcoal, pewter and warm bronze, with one lower section breaking into scattered gold flecked tesserae that catch light differently depending on where you stand. Black grout lines trace every facet, giving the surface a stained glass rhythm even though the material is mosaic tile.

Each tessera is hand cut glass, set edge to edge so the shifts between matte gray and glinting gold read as deliberate rather than random. The density of tiny cuts along the folds and joints of the figure gives the piece real texture up close, not just from a distance.

Installed in a recessed niche, the mosaic reads like a framed artwork built into the architecture itself. It suits a dim, warm lit dining room or lounge where the metallic tesserae can pick up ambient light, and it can be resized to fit a different alcove or feature wall on request.

Perfect For:

Restaurant feature walls
Hotel lobby niches
Lounge and bar seating areas
Fine dining accent walls
Boutique cafe interiors
Reception and entryway alcoves
